OUR INSTRUCTORS

When a startup or scaleup performs an Investment Readiness Process, the process is led by a Certified IRP Instructor. The instructor is a person with experience of running a company, either on their own or together with co-owners, and has previously completed Beels’ IRP Instructor Course and has been Certified by Beels. Being a Certified IRP Instructor means that the instructor, in addition to completing the course, has also performed an IRP assignment under the supervision of Beels. It gives us great pride to present our Certified IRP Instructors, all of whom are ready and motivated to provide founders with the right conditions and preparations prior to a capital acquisition process.

From my latest company, Just Football, I have fresh experience of running a startup financed by external capital. Throughout the entire IRP process, I can help founders to gain greater understanding by relating to situations that I myself have experienced.

I derive a lot of energy and satisfaction from seeing that founders have had a “eureka” moment and have made changes to their strategy as a result.

My speciality within IRP:
I try to expose founders to the relevant and sometimes tough questions which investors ask. But when I do this, it is always with the aim of benefiting the founders and enhancing their understanding and knowledge.

My best IRP experience:
When, during their IRP, a company came to the realisation that they had not developed an investment offer that was sufficiently attractive. They went back to the drawing board, re-performed their calculations and then acquired the capital they needed based on a new plan! I’m sure this saved them and the investors a lot of time and disappointment.

IRP FOR FOUNDERS

Beels has developed Investment Readiness Process, IRP, because we think that founders of companies should be focused on their idea and their customer. Acquiring risk capital from investors requires a lot of attention from founders and takes a lot of time and energy. We believe that founders can make the capital acquisition process more efficient and effective by creating a unique and clear investment offer. By attracting the right investors for their company, founders reduce the risk of conflicting expectations in the future and gain a greater understanding of why certain investors choose not to invest.
